1381 Nepalese were repatriated via Nine Flights on Saturday: Last Flights for First Phase is today:

The Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) informed that a total of 1,381 Nepalese were repatriated on last Saturday via nine flights. As per the report, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) repatriated 149 passengers from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and 262 passengers were from Saudi Arabia.

While conducting rescue flights; Himalaya Airlines repatriated 153 passengers from Saudi Arabia and 151 passengers from UAE. At the same time, 172 Nepalese citizens were returned home via Fly Dubai from the UAE and Air Arabia also conducted repatriated flight where 161 passengers were from the UAE. Likewise, Jazeera Airways repatriated 160 passengers from Kuwait, Etihad Airways repatriated 140 passengers from the UAE, Turkish Airlines 33 from Turkey.

TIA further informed that a total of six repatriation flights will be conducted on Sunday, which will be the last flights for the first phase of repatriation. The international cum domestic flights are suspended till July 21 but repatriation flights, rescue flights and emergency flights along with cargo flights are being conducted with special permission of concern authorities.
