169 Indian were Rescued by AirAsia form Indonesia:

The rescue campaign related to Coronavirus and lockdown is going on all over the world. Recently, AirAsia; low-cost carrier facilitated 169 Indian citizens who were stuck in Indonesia due to travel restrictions during the COVID-19 outbreak.

An unscheduled flight, QZ980 had departed with all 169 Indian nationals from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. The flight was landed safely at Tiruchirappali International Airport in the Indian state of Tamil.

In this regards, the AirAsia Indonesia president director Veranita Yosephine Sinaga said that the airline was proud of taking part in the social mission. He further added, “During the pandemic, we have helped repatriate thousands of passengers stranded in various countries due to travel restrictions”.
