The government of Nepal is continuously bringing Nepali from different countries via chartered flights that were stuck there due to Covid-19 pandemic. On Wednesday, 5 international flights brought a total of 348 Nepali citizens from various countries.
As per the information by Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), a Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) came back from Narita with 215 passengers which were the first regular flight after more than five months long suspension. The government had suspended all international flights on March 22 to control the spread of coronavirus which was resumed from September 2 with limited capacity.
At the same time, Malindo Air brought 133 Nepali passengers from Kuala Lumpur. Likewise, Qatar Airways conducted a cargo flight from Doha; Himalaya Airlines conducted a cargo flight from Male. Furthermore, four flights are scheduled to bring Nepali today.
