The Coronavirus pandemic is not in the control in the Nepal where the different local level government are imposing different controlling measures like lockdown, seal, travel restriction, health mandatory and other. In Damak, Covid-19 case compelled to extend lockdown till August 29.
An all-parties meeting of the Corona Prevention and Control Coordination Committee on Saturday has decided to extend lockdown in Damak. The previous lockdown period that began on August 16 was supposed to end on Saturday only. And this extending of restriction, curfew, lockdown seem to continue in different other parts of the country as it is maintaining new records of infection and death.
Geeta Adhikari, deputy Mayor has said that it was compelled to decide as 16 new cases of COVID-19 were reported on Saturday itself. It indicates that it is not easy to control and it is uncertain to resume travel tourism or any other sectors as normal. It is not only killing people but making panic and traumatic as it seems to remain the same condition for a long time ahead.
