The authentic source is giving clue that the announcement will be made during the visit of China’s State Councilor and Defense Minister Wei Fenghe’s day-long visit to Kathmandu on November 29. Actually, Nepal had not measured the height of several mountains by itself. This is the first time where Nepal took the measurement of Mt. Everest on its own. Nepal is the home for eight of the 14 highest mountains in the world over 8,000m. This new activity will attract the concentration of world towards Mt. Everest that will help to popularize the nation for the tourism industry.
