Relaxations in Air and Metro Travel in India:

Coronavirus pandemic has brought tremendous change in life of the human in the world. About 212 countries are facing same situation and at present some of the countries are applying relaxation policy in lockdown. In India, with a limited number of passenger trains running since last week, it is the aviation sector and road transport, including metro services, which are expected to get some relaxation now.

In order to mange and address current situation new guideline is will be announced this evening, which is expected to last for two more weeks, until May 31. While announcing the extensions last week, Indian PM Narendra Modi, had said that it would come in a “completely different form”, with new rules.

He further said, “Corona will be with us for a long time but our lives cannot revolve around it as past. We will wear masks and other safety measures but we won’t let it derail our targets.” Separate shops have been operating for more than two weeks, a step forward compared to the shops selling essential goods were allowed during the first phase of the lock-down.

Metro travel will be allowed now but with strict rules of social distancing. At the same time, constructional activities will be fully resumed. This is phase 4 of lock-down in India. Four states – Maharashtra, Delhi, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat – which have recorded the highest number of cases in India also reported the biggest surge in COVID-19 count in the last 24 hours. America, Italy and some other European countries are also giving motion in the economic activities with high alert and stick social distancing policy.
