The government of Nepal has decided to continue the suspension of the operation of long-distance transportation as well as domestic flights. According to the previous schedule, it was supposed to be resumed from September 1 but new decision extended till September 16.
Along with those transportations system, schools and all other educational institutions across the country will also remain shutting as usual. But the cabinet decided to continue its last decision on the operation of international flights which is resuming from tomorrow and a schedule has also been released.
The cabinet meeting including ministers Yogesh Bhattarai, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali and Rameshwar Raya Yadav were arguing that the previous decision to evacuate 500 Nepalese per day should be expanded in the different case as if a particular company send Nepalese back home bearing all their costs of taking PCR tests, hotel quarantine facility among others.
