Tourism to get full Resumption in Nepal: MoCTCA Start Action for Resumption of Tourist Activities:

The tourism activities like mountaineering and trekking are already got resumption in Nepal. Recently, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) has started preparations to resume remaining tourist activities in the country. This action will resume tourism activities in full phases.

Recently, the Cabinet has decided to allow other operations of touristic activities like cable cars, jungle safaris and museums. In this regards, the MoCTCA has begun preparations to open other tourist activities. The tourism ministry had notified on November 13 addressing to all the tourism service providers to resume their activities. During the operation of activities, the health safety measures set by the Ministry of Health and Population must be followed.  At the same time, the ministry had clearly said that the final decision and regulation would be declared by the local government. During the operation of all tourism activities, the tourism ministry and other concern authorities will monitor whether the activities are being conducted following the health safety measures or not.

Furthermore, the Cabinet had decided on November 9 to allow the resumption of tourist activities. During the congratulating those high profile personalities visited Nepal, the tourism minister; Yogesh Bhattarai had said that the visit of high-ranking officials from different countries to Nepal is a sign that the tourism sector is gradually moving forward at its own pace despite the risks of Covid-19 contagion.
