Tourists do not want to leave Bandipur even at present Situation:

Bandipur is one of the famous places for Tourism in Nepal which lies in a hilltop settlement in Tanahun District. This municipality was established on 18 May 2014 by merging with existing Dharampani and Bandipur VDC.  Because of its preserved, old time cultural atmosphere, Bandipur has increasingly been coming to the attention of internal and external tourism. Bandipur is famous for Newari people and their cultures which is richest culture among all. There are many other things so tourists do not want to go back to their home by after they experience hospitality, natural beauty, culture and all other.

At present, coronavirus pandemic is giving great impact to every human on earth. Nepal Tourism Board is lunching rescue campaign for international tourists and many of them have already returned to their homeland. But the tourists, who are enjoying at Bandipur, do not want to go back to home; rather they want to stay safe and enjoy remaining time with the community and their hospitality. Especially 12 tourists are not willing to go back for 2 reasons. Firstly, they are enjoying and second reason is coronavirus which is killing many people in their home countries.

Municipality had collected data of stocked tourists in order to lunch rescue campaign as said by Tourism Ministry and NTB but 5 members from France, 1 from England, 2 form Russia, 1 from China, 2 from Colombia, 1 from Canada; in total 12 tourists are still staying at Bandipur. With due respect, they are provided cheapest cost of service.
