Present world has got lockdown and human beings are locked inside their home to remain safe from Coronavirus pandemic. So, how to spend this so long and isolated unplanned holidays? Obviously, many people are busy with their gadgets to spend time but still long period of searching similar content is so boring for every one of us. And most importantly, many people have completed even house cleaning including small nook and corners. So, here are some awesome movies list which will entertain and make visit in this travel restriction period while many of us will be daydreaming of the white beaches, natural beauty, meadows and many more.

  1. Los Angeles, United States – La La Land

For real feeling of Hollywood, La La Land must be at the top list. This movie offers a whimsical perspective on life in LA with aesthetically pleasing musical numbers to witty dialogues. In the movie Mia, an actress, and Sebastian, a jazz pianist tries to establish their careers and make it big in the City of Angels.

In a village in the North-Western Himalayas, Tinl, a charismatic old chieftain, whose eldest son has just died, refuses to allow the young Karma to lead the yak caravan. They both end up leading on two different routes. This is the story of their rivalry in the Himalayas in Nepal. The film is a narrative on the both traditions and the impermanent nature of human struggle to retain and express power in the face of the gods

Another comedy-drama is set in Tokyo and follows the relationship between a middle-aged actor and college graduate. It has themes of loneliness, culture shock and fidelity with a subdued and gentle pace. It’s predominantly set in a hotel, but also features scenes on the bustling streets of the city and in a karaoke bar too.

Another movie Amelie also can be your next best travel movie.  This movie follows an innocent and native waitress in Paris as she decides to go on a journey to help others find happiness. The Montmarte café Amelie works at is a real location in the City of Lights, and as we watch this, we can imagine ourselves strolling down the same streets like characters. Amelie is a kind, light hearted and good feelings character.

The most suspenseful drama well known for Prison break movie will lead us in real experiences. I’m sure some of us are starting to feel like our homes are a more comfortable version of a prison, so if you’re looking for some escapism why not watch this well-known prison break film where charecters fee from the world’s most famous prisons. The film is mainly based in Seattle City of US, but focuses on a planned trip to Antarctica which eventually comes to fruition in a bizarre and unexpected way.

This movie focuses on United Kingdom’s capital, but we feel Paddington really captures the essence of the city and what it means to be a Londoner. After or during watching we will fall in love with this little bear’s personality, and the movie is full to the brim with excellent British comedy. We will especially love the scenes set at the Natural History Museum, Portobello Road and Primrose Hill and many more.

Although it is actually set on the island of Skopelos, the scenery will bring back memories of popular holiday destinations, such as Santorini, Rhodes and Mykonos. This bold musical will transport us right there with an ABBA soundtrack that’s impossible not to sing along. Hawaii, Polynesia – Moana. Lin-Manuel Miranda’s songs will quickly get stuck in your head as we watch this story unfold.

We can’t go wrong with a classic Audrey Hepburn film, and Roman Holiday puts a spotlight on the Italian capital – Rome. It features Hepburn as a bored princess who escapes from her guardians to explore the city and eventually fall in love with a reporter, played by Gregory Peck. This film is the perfect antidote for those of us missing our European city breaks.

  1. Jaipur, India – The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

This film follows a group of British pensioners as they move into a retirement hotel in India. Each of the seven tourists has a past, and a desire for how they intend to spend the rest of their lives. Their storylines intertwine with that of their host, who is also trying to find his way.

There are many other travel movies which can amuse us not only by story but also the scene which are naturally beautiful and impossible to visit during this quarantine period.
